Directly supervises the , Sr Accountant, Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerks, and Premium Payable Clerk. Responsibilities include: budgeting, variance analysis, planning, scheduling and assigning work; making hiring decisions; instructing and training on proper work methods; reviewing and approving work; conducting performance evaluations; recommending salary adjustments; making effective recommendations regarding promotions; and making recommendations regarding unsatisfactory employees
„« Bachelor‘¦s Degree in Accounting or Finance
„« 6+ years operational management experience (insurance/financial industry preferred)
„« Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills (both oral and written)
„« High degree of attention to detail
„« Solid knowledge of GAAP

Candidates considered will have 2+ years handling a book of business from beginning to end. Good tenure with past employment history is a must.
